キャスト後、トラウトの目線より下に素早く潜らせてルアーの存在を消す。
続いてラインテンションをかけて姿勢をコントロールしながら真上に浮かせる。
再び視界に飛び込んでくるスティルに魚はたまらず口を使います。
サイトフィッシングが出来ないマッディポンドではトラウトのレンジを探るためにPEラインを用い、PEラインの動きでバイトを感知する。
また、魚へプレッシャーを掛けづらく、水馴染みが良く伸びの少ないエステルラインもこの釣りでは有効です。

既存のスティル・エリアチューンは”マジックジャーク”釣法に向いたスペシャルミノーとしてチューニングを施したモデル。

一方でT2は、浮力がやや強め（ポーズ時の浮上速度がやや速め）に設定されているので、高水温時（浅いレンジに魚が浮いている時）や高活性時（誘いのテンポを速くしたい）でより効果を発揮しやすいモデルとなります。
