1940年代のアメリカ。
この頃のジーンズやデニムジャケットは 第二次世界大戦に使用する物資に力を入れる為、 無駄と思われる部分は徹底的に制限され 各部を簡素化するしかありませんでした。

それに加え、ベテランの縫製職人達は軍服の製造を中心に製造し、 ジーンズをはじめとしたワークウェアの製造は まだ技術の乏しい縫製員が行っていました。

ダルチザンでは1940年代の時代背景を元に 不格好な縫製や簡素化されたディテールを再現し、 石川台で紡績した13.0ozオリジナルデニム生地を使用しています。
縫製後にベージュカラーのトッピングを施し 当時の無骨で荒々しさのあるデニム地と くすんで酸化したような インディゴブルーの雰囲気を表現しています。

WWII Model Jeans made with Ishikawadai-spun denim D1903

Step into 1940s America—an era defined by wartime austerity.
During World War II, manufacturing resources were prioritized for the war effort. As a result, jeans and denim jackets were stripped of non-essential details, resulting in simplified, utilitarian designs.

Experienced sewing craftsmen were tasked with producing military uniforms, while less-experienced workers handled workwear like jeans. This led to uneven stitching and rough construction—a raw, unrefined look that came to characterize the era.

These jeans are a faithful reproduction of that historical style. Crafted from original 13.0oz denim woven in Ishikawadai, they feature intentionally rough stitching and minimal detailing to reflect the period.
A beige top finish is applied after sewing, enhancing the rugged texture and evoking the oxidized, muted tone of wartime indigo.
