そんな欲望を満たすルアーを生み出したい。ルアーの造り手として、「美」を重んじる人々に届けたい。そんな想いから「もののふ」は生まれた。「しっかりと泳ぐ」「良く飛ぶ」といったルアーに求められる基本性能の追求は、ルアー開発に於いては必須。新渓流ミノー開発に向き合い更に追い求めたのは「造形美」。
ハンドメイドを彷彿とさせるこのルアーを手にしたとき、「美」への所有欲を存分に満たす事が出来る。

「もののふ（武士）」のように、潔く、清く、勇猛なルアーでありたい。

45Sは50S同様アクションのクセがなく、自重4.0gと50Sより軽い設定なもののボディ内部のウエイト比率は高く狙ったピンポイントへ弾丸のように飛んでいきます。通常45mm程度の小さ目のサイズはメインとなる50mmのフォローアイテムとして使う事が多く、ウェイトも軽い設定が主流。もののふ45Sは単なるダウンサイジングでは無くあくまで攻撃的。50Sと比べ若干テール重心に設定する事で、着水後、比較的素早く狙った層まで落とす事が可能。しかし45mmの小柄ボディと50S同様に大き目リップにより泳ぎ出しは極めてスムーズに。泳ぎ出しでもたつく事をなくし、早いテンポでピンポイントを狙って行けます。

It was this intense desire that drove me to create such a lure. As a lure craftsman, I wanted to deliver something truly special to those who deeply appreciate "beauty." It was from this very vision that "Mononofu" was born.

Pursuing the fundamental performance expected of any lure—such as "swimming exceptionally well" and "casting incredible distances"—is an absolute must in lure development. However, in facing the challenge of developing this new mountain stream minnow, we pursued something even further: "sculptural beauty." The moment you hold this lure, which closely evokes the feel of a handmade masterpiece, it will completely satisfy your desire for ownership and aesthetic appreciation.

We want this lure to be honorable, pure, and brave—just like a "Mononofu" (Samurai).

Technical Performance

Just like the 50S, the 45S exhibits a highly consistent, user-friendly action. While its 4.0g total weight makes it lighter than the 50S, it boasts a high internal weight ratio that allows it to fly like a bullet right into your targeted pinpoint spot.

Typically, smaller 45mm lures are used merely as backups to a primary 50mm size and are generally designed with a lightweight bias. However, the Mononofu 45S is not just a simple downsizing—it remains completely aggressive. By shifting the center of gravity slightly toward the tail compared to the 50S, it drops to your target depth relatively quickly upon hitting the water. Yet, thanks to its compact 45mm body and a generously sized lip shared with the 50S, its swimming action starts flawlessly. Eliminating any sluggishness on the startup, it allows you to aggressively target pinpoint pockets at a fast tempo.
