“Japonism” and “Art” are now available in the L fastener long series. We intentionally designed the layout and color using saddle leather that changes the color tone greatly depending on how the owner handles it, after aging it to deep brown.
「The Japonism series is, as its name suggests, a collection of Japanese-style art.
●Hokusai_The Great Wave
Arranged on both sides is Japan’s representative Katsushika Hokusai’s “Thirty-six Views of Futaki, the Great Wave of Kanagawa”.
Ink painting of bamboo is placed on the entire surface. At first glance, it looks like abstract art.
Ukiyo-e artist Kyosai Kawanabe’s “Insect Dance”, which was active from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji period, is arranged in a pattern. A picture of a strange and mysterious view of the world with insects dancing in eerie yet light poses.
Extracted from “Skull and Lizard” by Kyosai Kawanabe and placed in front. Bizarre artwork like Kyosai. Although it is an artist who lived in the Edo and Meiji eras, it is an ukiyo-e painting, but with a sense of Western influence.
