Cancellation Policy

  • Samurai craft leather products (custom order)

Regarding our leather products to the abroad, since each one is handmade by craftsmen, we apologize that the cancellation after confirmation mail is not acceptable. After having confirmed your order, we start manufacturing. To prevent troubles, please check carefully before order.

  • About other products (other than leather goods, miscellaneous goods, etc.)

We accept if you cancel before the shipment has been completed.

  • About products purchased at Taiwa Main shop/ in-store display

Please return the item, unused, together with the receipt, price tag and accessories within 8days after your shopping. We shall refund as long as it’s in Japan.

 

Return

  • For Leather products

■ Return due to customer’s reasons
  • You don’t like size, design, color or image was not same
  • You change your mind or financially difficult after ordering
  • Made mistake in ordering (size, color, model etc.)

We will accept returns of new, unused products within 8 days after arrival. It is applicable only inside of Japan. Please contact us as soon as possible, or speak to the staff at Main Store. Refunds and exchanges are as follows

  1. If you wish to return or exchange

    For replacement due to customer’s circumstances, the shipping fee will be paid by the customer. When we ship the new items, the client needs to cover the shipping fee. However, it depends on the stock availability.

  2.  If you would like a refund

    We will refund after deducting the shipping cost and the various charges.

In the unlikely event that the product with your name or your own custom made, we are very sorry but we can not accept return nor refund.

 

Defective items

We are fully committed to the quality of our products, but in case following conditions are met, we will take responsibility. Please contact us via mail or ask Taiwa head office staff.

■ Possibilities of defects
  1. Initial failure (within 8 days after purchase)
  2. Damaged during transportation
  3. Different article from ordered item
  4. Defects that are clearly the responsibility of our company

In principle, we will replace it with a new product. We will also pay for the return shipping. If the exchange is not possible, we shall refund.

  • Other products (other than leather goods, appareail, miscellaneous goods, etc.)

We will replace it with a new product. We will also bear the return shipping fee. If the exchange is not possible, we shall refund.

 

Shipping timing for leather items

Samurai craft leather products are basically all order-made. We start manufacturing after your confirmation of the order.

It takes about 10 days for the basic items. 3 weeks to 1 month for Sheridan style carving or the tanning process. For the detailed schedule, please refer to the confirmation email after order. The shipping duration depends on the logistic company for international delivery.

If you would like to receive earlier than the delivery date stated in the e-mail, we may be able to adjust. Please feel free to contact us.

Please note that our raw material are short in stock. It happens to get them longer that may affect the manufacturing time. In such case, we will contact you by e-mail or phone. Thank you for your understanding.
